His knowledge of how to make sure the panels won’t come down in the next storm is impressive… he personally came and with his wonderful helper Travis installed my panels professionally and I can see the difference from the way they installed them then from they were before! The NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification is a certification achieved after passing a rigorous exam by which PV Installation Professionals with skills and experience can show their expertise in the solar industry. The passing rate for this extremely difficult exam is not high, so Florida Solar One’s competence well demonstrated with this certification. It provides a measure of protection to the public by giving them a credential for judging the competency of practitioners. It is not intended to prevent qualified individuals from installing PV systems or to replace state license requirements.
Certified PV Technical Sales Professional
The NABCEP PV Technical Sales Certification has been developed in accordance with the certification field’s best practices. This certification shows that the Florida Solar One is competent enough to Qualify the Customer, do a proper Site Analysis, perform Conceptual Designs, present Financial Costs, Incentives, and Savings, explain Financial Benefit Analyses and Financing Options, clarify any Non-financial Benefit Analysis, discus Performance Analysis, and professionally Prepare Proposals.
NABCEP Certified Photovoltaic Systems Inspector
The NABCEP System Inspector is for any individuals who are performing system inspections for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s), utilities, incentive programs, investors and others performing quality assurance of photovoltaic (PV), solar heating system and code compliance. Inspectors are a key component in ensuring quality renewable energy installations for customers.
The NABCEP System Inspector recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the technical knowledge necessary for inspecting electrical components and systems; inspecting energy storage components and systems; inspecting mechanical/structural components and systems; and documentation for the System Inspection.
